Landing page teardown
3 sections we'd A/B test on zapier.com
Our AI's read of https://zapier.com/ on October 21, 2026. Previews use the page's own stylesheets with scripts switched off, so animations and widgets won't run. The redesigns are untested ideas, not results, and Patchwork isn't affiliated with zapier.com.
Section 1
Hero
- What's holding it back
- "Welcome to automation in the agentic era" announces a trend instead of telling visitors what they will get, and the concrete reasons to sign up (230+ AI tools, 9,000+ apps, self-healing workflows) only appear further down the page. The logo strip is a fast-moving marquee with every logo repeated, so visitors struggle to read the proof.
- What we'd test
- If we lead with the outcome (workflows built in your AI tool that then run on their own), add the 9,000+ apps proof under the buttons and show the logos as a static grid, then free sign-up clicks from the hero will improve because visitors understand the payoff and see credible proof before they scroll.
Section 2
Customer stories
- What's holding it back
- The strongest numbers on the page ($150K saved a year, 47,000 tickets resolved a month, 3,000+ agent hours freed) are locked inside a carousel where two of the three slides are hidden, so most visitors only ever see one story. The headline talks about who uses Zapier rather than the results they get.
- What we'd test
- If we show all three customer results side by side with the number leading each card, then clicks to sign-up and customer stories will improve because visitors see three pieces of measurable proof at a glance instead of one.
Section 3
Closing CTA
- What's holding it back
- "Go from AI to ROI" is a slogan with no reason attached, and the closing block drops the one-click Google sign-up offered in the hero, so visitors who scrolled the whole page get the weakest version of the ask.
- What we'd test
- If we restate three concrete benefits from the page and offer the same email and Google sign-up options as the hero, then end-of-page sign-ups will improve because convinced visitors get a quick recap and the fastest path to start.
