Landing page teardown

3 sections we'd A/B test on stripe.com

Our AI's read of https://stripe.com/ on October 21, 2026. Previews use the page's own stylesheets with scripts switched off, so animations and widgets won't run. The redesigns are untested ideas, not results, and Patchwork isn't affiliated with stripe.com.

Section 1

Stats proof

What's holding it back
The page's strongest proof ($1.9T processed, 99.999% uptime, 200M+ subscriptions) sits in a section with no button, so visitors who are most convinced have nowhere to go next. The same four stats are also rendered twice (list plus interactive menu), which adds noise.
What we'd test
If we pair the stats with the Fortune 100 proof point and a primary and secondary button directly beneath them, then click-through to sign-up and enterprise pages will improve because the call to action appears at the moment confidence peaks.

Section 2

Solutions intro

What's holding it back
The heading talks about 'flexible solutions' and 'business models' rather than what a business gets, and two near-identical description paragraphs say the same thing without any link or button. Visitors must open six dialog cards to learn what's actually offered.
What we'd test
If we add a one-line scannable list of the six product areas plus a clear start button under the intro, then engagement with the solutions area and sign-up clicks will improve because visitors can find their use case at a glance instead of exploring cards blindly.

Section 3

Enterprise CTA

What's holding it back
The most persuasive fact for enterprise buyers, '50% of Fortune 100 companies have used Stripe', is tucked into small grey text below the button, while the headline leans on vague phrases like 'agile financial infrastructure'.
What we'd test
If we lead with the Fortune 100 proof as a large figure and place the button after it, then clicks to the enterprise page will improve because buyers see credible peer validation before being asked to act.
