Landing page teardown

3 sections we'd A/B test on linear.app

Our AI's read of https://linear.app/ on October 21, 2026. Previews use the page's own stylesheets with scripts switched off, so animations and widgets won't run. The redesigns are untested ideas, not results, and Patchwork isn't affiliated with linear.app.

Section 1

Hero

What's holding it back
The hero has no sign-up button, so the only clickable item is a 'New: Loops' announcement link that sends first-time visitors away to a changelog post. The headline names a category ('product development system') but never says what a team gets from using it.
What we'd test
If we add a primary 'Get started' button and a secondary 'Contact sales' link right under the headline, and spell out the outcome of planning, building and delegating to agents in one place, then hero-to-signup click-through will improve because visitors get a clear next step at the moment their interest is highest.

Section 2

AI feature block

What's holding it back
AI agents are Linear's headline differentiator ('for teams and agents'), yet this block gets the same two-line description and generic 'Learn more' link as every other feature. Nothing shows what an agent actually does for you, even though the demo above shows triage labelling, a delegated issue and a draft PR.
What we'd test
If we list the concrete agent actions already shown in the page's demo and replace 'Learn more' with a specific CTA plus a sign-up link, then clicks to /ai and signups from this block will improve because visitors can picture the value before they click.

Section 3

Intake feature block

What's holding it back
'Intake and integrations' is an internal-sounding label, and the copy stays abstract while the demo above already shows a Slack thread becoming a labelled issue in minutes. The only action is another 'Learn more', which gives no reason to click.
What we'd test
If we lead with the outcome (feedback becomes a routed, prioritized issue automatically), anchor it with the Slack example from the page and use a specific CTA, then clicks to /intake will improve because visitors immediately see the time it saves them.
